I went and saw the movie “Life As We Know It” last weekend expecting just another Chick Flick.I was wrong to think that. In the movie, Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl are best friends with a married couple that has a little girl. Tragically, their friends die in a car accident and Duhamel and Heigl are forced into taking care of their friends’ child together. Duhamel and Heigl are complete opposites and don’t really like each other. They both had no idea how to take care of a baby. The movie shows the struggles that they go through in trying to live together, balance their careers, take care of a small child together and to mourning the death of their friends. The movie has a great balance of comedy and drama. The friction between Duhamel and Heigl was pretty entertaining and adding a child into the mix just made it even better. It was obvious that the two of them were eventually going to fall for each other but the laughs and the drama along the way made it a pretty good movie. I think anyone who has kids would appreciate this movie and the struggle both have to go through in the raising of a small child. It was a heartwarming movie that people of all ages would enjoy.
