On Oct. 4, a months-long project by the beaux of women’s social club Pi Theta Phi (PTP) was completed and uploaded for campus-wide listening.
The 2021 Colloquium on the Liberal Arts will be taking place every Tuesday from Oct. 12 through Nov. 2 at Harding, exploring the topic of freedom and independence with the Honors College.
Harding University is home to two collegiate ultimate frisbee teams for both women and men: The Sky Bisons and Apocalypse.
As of Sept. 24, Harding University has had a total of 149 positive COVID-19 cases and 184 close contacts of COVID-19 cases. The current definition Harding provides of a close contact is: “Someone who has been within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more, with or without a cloth face mask, over a 24-hour period starting from two days before illness onset until the time the person who has tested positive is isolated.”
A new cafe and bake shop, Warehouse 4, plans to open on the Harding campus January 2022.
The women’s golf team began their season earlier this month on Sept. 8 and 9 at the Central Region Fall Preview, hosted by Southwestern Oklahoma State. The team had a strong showing, finishing seventh of 19 teams.
Tacos 4 Life has recently closed permanently, leaving many to wonder why such a popular restaurant shut down. Several factors point toward the worker shortages found all over the country, especially in areas of employment, like foodservice and hospitality.
Women’s social club Delta Nu hosted a tailgate before the Lady Bisons’ soccer game on Sept. 11. The event was called “Delta Nu Presents: A Milk and Cookies Tailgate” for which women were instructed to bring Oreos and men to bring milk. All were welcome.
