Pike Church
Don’t let the name deceive. “Pike Church” is primarily made up of members of the Pike social club but many others tune into this devotional at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays as well. Led by senior Ryan Gardner, the group is looking to the book “The Shack” by William P. Young to talk about overcoming tragedy and grief.
Football Devo
Made up of members of the football team, this devotional meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at 401 E. Market Ave. They are currently dissecting the book of James.
Walker’s
If you want an enticing video series, on Wednesday nights at assistant women’s basketball coach David Walker’s house is a great place to go. The devotional meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at 1104 Bent Tree Lane. Led by Walker and Nathan Guy, the group is currently watching the “I Am Second” video series.
Williams’s House Church
Mike Williams and juniors Andrew Brackins and Tyler Gentry lead the Williams’s House Church at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, located at 126 Ponderosa Drive. Throughout the year, the group collects money for “Spare Change for Big Thangs,” which they use to help out at River City Ministries in Little Rock and to sponsor a child to go to church camp during the summer.
Fubuth
Fubuth, which stands for “For Us By Us Through Him,” meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday nights at 113 Water Oaks Drive. Various students lead Fubuth each week and speak about different topics that are applicable to our everyday lives.
