The Campus Activities Board (CAB) announced today that Tori Kelly will be performing in the Benson Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 7. Starting Friday, tickets can be bought at the CAB office, the mobile booth and online through hardingcab.com.
The event is an official stop for Kelly as she tours her debut album, “Unbreakable Smile,” which was released this June. The lead single, “Nobody Love,” reached No. 60 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album’s second single, “Should’ve Been Us,” is currently at No. 64. The album was produced by Max Martin, who has worked on No. 1 hits with Britney Spears, ‘N Sync and many others.
Kelly began to build a following at the age of 14 by posting covers on YouTube, and her channel currently has more than 1 million subscribers. After auditioning for “American Idol,” she began working with Scooter Braun, who has managed several successful artists, including Usher, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. Kelly has collaborated with Ed Sheeran and Pentatonix, and she has opened for Sheeran and Sam Smith.
