A new restaurant has made its way to Searcy and is fully equipped to satisfy the taste buds of many taco eaters. Tacos 4 Life is a new-to-Searcy restaurant with a great purpose, delicious food and a hipster-like atmosphere.
The mission behind the food is what makes it unique. For each taco purchase, 22 cents of every dollar spent is donated to Feed My Starving Children, an evangelical organization with a goal to end world hunger. Customers’ money is used to buy and send nutritional rice packets across the globe.
Even President Bruce McLarty said Tacos 4 Life will be a tasty addition to Searcy. He has eaten with his daughter’s family at the Tacos 4 Life in Conway, Arkansas.
“The food was great. It’s unique, delicious, fresh and interesting. I think Harding students will love the experience,” McLarty said.
For people seeking a genuine and healthy food choice, this is the perfect place. In addition to tacos, they sell salads, quesadillas, nachos, rice bowls and cookies. With a five-star rating on Facebook reviews, it’s the kind of variety Searcy has been waiting for. The manager said they have been working hard from early in the morning to late at night to execute an excellent experience for everyone.
The atmosphere is especially attractive to college students. Trendy wall art and colorful outdoor seating occupy Tacos 4 Life locations. The feeling of the restaurant sparks a fresh energy.
“As soon as I walked into Tacos 4 Life, I was surprised at how vibrant and energetic the place felt,” junior Abbey Watson said.
Located on East Race Street between Walmart and Harding, it’s a convenient location for students. Tacos 4 Life originated in Conway, Arkansas, with locations now in Texas and soon in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Before the grand opening, the restaurant had a “soft opening” during which they served free food for two days to those who registered for the event online. This allowed people to view the new establishment while enjoying fresh tacos.
Tacos 4 Life is the perfect restaurant for Harding students. Not only does it provide delicious foods at competitive pricing, it, much like Harding, serves a greater purpose within the community. You can always justify a trip as a greater expression of Christ’s love.
