Bison Hospitality, Yarnell’s Ice Cream and Harding University partnered to create a new official ice cream flavor for the Harding and Searcy community. The new ice cream flavor was picked based on student suggestions collected during tasting events, and an online Instagram poll approved by Harding President Dr. Mike Williams.
The new ice cream flavor was named “Bison Tracks,” which features rich chocolate ice cream, delightful brownie bits and luscious caramel ribbons.
General Manager of Bison Hospitality Jason Warrington is excited to represent the tastes and preferences of the Harding Community, and showcase the collaborative effort that went into the ice cream’s creation.
“We are excited to partner with Yarnell’s Ice Cream and Harding University, to bring Bison Tracks to life,” Warrington said.
Williams feels enthusiastic about having a new ice cream flavor. He is also proud the Harding students were able to pick an ice cream flavor.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for their creativity and participation in
selecting ‘Bison Tracks’ as our official ice cream flavor,” Williams said in the press release.
He expressed that their collaboration with Yarnell’s Ice Cream and Bison Hospitality is a testament to the vibrant and innovative spirit of the Harding Community.
“We look forward to enjoying this delicious treat together,” Williams said.
Megan Jones, an associate professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Science is
excited because her Family and Consumer Science class is going to participate in taste testing for the new Harding ice cream flavor in the near future. She thinks that the
creation of “Bison Tracks” is an example of how students’ input can lead to something
special. For Jones, the new flavor not only reflects the preferences but also brings a sense of
pride and community to the Harding Campus.
“We are thrilled to see it come to life and be enjoyed by everyone,” Jones said.
The date of the new ice cream flavor has not been released by the time of press release.
