With the semester coming to a close, President Michael Crouch held the Student Association’s final meeting of the 2008-2009 school year on Thursday, April 23.
Crouch asked SA members to recap the previous school year and share with each other what they thought the SA had done well, as well as issues that need to be improved on in the coming school year under President-elect Bryan Clifton.
The results? Here’s what the SA has to say:
GOOD:
• Having electoral debates in chapel
• Having Vice Presidential Committees to carry out specific tasks
• Improved communication with the student body
THINGS TO IMPROVE:
• Making the SA a more outspoken voice
• Making the dorm representatives known and more approachable
• Housing: Should sophomores really be in Stephens when freshmen girls get to live in Cathcart?
SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
• As of May 31st, the SA will have a Web site that will share meeting times and information about what the SA is doing for the Harding student body
