“Today was Harding University’s first day of in-person chapel in nearly a year since the pandemic started.
This morning there were four chapel sessions at nine and nine-thirty a.m. in The Benson Auditorium and The Rhodes-Reaves Field House, there will be four more tomorrow with different groups of students.
Before chapel, students downloaded an app that tells the administration if they were present for their attendance through Bluetooth.
Seats were marked with tape to keep all students six feet apart from each other to ensure social distancing.
With in-person chapel back, students are still able to meet all together once again and Harding is getting to continue one of their most famous traditions on campus.”
