“As we all know, it’s getting colder and colder outside and the question on everyone’s mind is, will we have classes as we wrap up the week?
According to Harding’s inclement weather policy, the decision to delay or cancel day classes should be released by 6:00 a.m., and the decision on night classes, by 2:00 p.m. on the day in question.
In the event of a delay, chapel will not meet and the beginning time for classes is subjective to the conditions; in other words, there may be days when classes start a little later, after temperatures warm up.
These decisions would be made by President Burks along with the Provost Office.
Though the GAC, library, and other non-academic departments are subject to close or adjust their hours based on their own discretion.
A great way to stay up to date on any campus delays or closures it to opt in to the campus emergency notification system.
You can find the opt-in link on Pipeline under the student tab.”
