The Way, a healthcare club on Harding University’s campus, held its seventh annual stress-relief fair on the front lawn Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The fair allowed students to participate in stress-free activities, including receiving manicures, playing volleyball, competing in Rockband, a jumping in a bounce house and even holding puppies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Junior Kimberly Miller said the stress-relief fair “gets your mind off whatever you have to do you can just take an hour to come out here blow bubbles, play with puppies and do whatever you want.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Way plans to keep the stress-relief fair happening every year. A big part of what makes this fair happen is the sponsors, Miller said. This year’s sponsors included Searcy Cinema, Hastings, Searcy Beauty College and Froyo.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Not only did students take advantage of this stress-relieving opportunity, some faculty and staff members did too.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“I love (the stress-free fair) because I am taking care of seven kids today, so this gives them the chance to run around and have fun, while giving me a chance to relax and watch them have a great time,” said Donna Strachan, residence life coordinator for Kendall dorm.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The members of The Way said they were pleased with the turn out this year and hope that next year will be even better.<\/p>\n
