After four days of campaigning and 1,666 votes cast for the president, the results are in for Harding’s new StudentAssociation representatives.<\/p>\n
The results include:<\/p>\n
President<\/strong>: Steven Ramsey<\/p>\n Vice President:<\/strong>Jong Hwa Lee<\/p>\n Secretary:<\/strong>Amanda Herren<\/p>\n Treasurer:<\/strong>Tim Harless<\/p>\n Senior Men’s Representative:<\/strong>Ryan Taylor<\/p>\n Senior Women’s<\/strong>Representative<\/strong>:<\/strong>Cassandra Searcy<\/p>\n Junior Men’s<\/strong>Representative<\/strong>:<\/strong>Logan Callier<\/p>\n Junior Women’s<\/strong>Representative<\/strong>:<\/strong>Claire Walker<\/p>\n Sophomore Men’s<\/strong>Representative<\/strong>:<\/strong>Jay Hemphill<\/p>\n Sophomore Women’s<\/strong>Representative<\/strong>:<\/strong>Sara Beth Ivey<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Ramsey, who won the presidency with 52 percent of the vote, said he will begin organizing his administration in the next few days.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n “I want to slow down for a bit first and then focus on talking and working with the SA for next year’s plans,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Current President Jordan Stanley said he was happy for Ramsey.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n “I thought the candidates had a great campaign, and I was very satisfied with the total number of votes,” Stanley said. “I’m excited for the opportunity Steven has next year, and I think he’ll bring some excitement to the Student Association.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The SA is a very vital organization on campus who lead the student body in every way.
