For the past few weeks, the Student Association has invited everyone to share prayer requests on the paper wall outside the cafeteria.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Though several contributors have signed their names, most keep their prayers anonymous.<\/p>\n

“It’s a great way for students to communicate their prayers together,” freshman Gage Gwaltney said. “I like that it’s anonymous; I have a personal prayer up there and I don’t want people to feel bad for me.”<\/p>\n

Freshman Seth Newberry likes that it is close and available. “It’s nice to know that so many people are praying for you without having to ask for it,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Another aspect that attracts students is the raw quality of the wall, which, to many, gives hope and inspiration.<\/p>\n

“I feel like it’s a great way for us to all be conected,” sophomore Nathan White said.<\/p>\n

Sophomore Michal Filbeck agrees with him, adding, “Especially because on one, the person circled it and said it has been answered. It’s nice to read the requests and know you’re not the only one who has that problem.”<\/p>\n
