Hundreds of people, mainly students, were present at the concert. As expected, the trio offered a great performance that engaged the public.<\/p>\n<p>The Lone Bellow trio is comprised of Zach Williams, Kanene Pipkin and Brian Elmquist. They released their self-titled debut CD last January and, during the concert they recorded at least one song for a future CD. Lone Bellow is well known for their &#8220;Brooklyn Country&#8221; style, and their music certainly created an exciting atmosphere inside the auditorium.<\/p>\n<p>While the trio was singing, students gathered in front of the stage, some even getting to high-five Williams. The trio sang, but also joked a little bit with the audience. Their talent and passion were certainly transmitted through each song to everyone who attended.<\/p>\n<p>Their lyrics may have a melancholic connotation, but they actually have rousing choruses and could be considered as enthusiastic. Also, The Lone Bellow&#8217;s music transmits a strong familial feel, a sense of closeness.<\/p>\n<p>At one point during the concert, The Lone Bellow left the stage. Everybody thought it was their last song; suddenly, the audience started yelling for another song. The trio came back on stage and continued singing.<\/p>\n<p>Esquire Magazine placed Lone Bellow as the No. 1 music group to watch in 2013. LA Weekly Music listed them as the best folk band debut of the year.
