As the novelty of the new school year wears off, Harding\u2019s Campus Lifestyle has been working to bring fun activities to the student body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Campus Life has been hard at work to help put some zeal back into the hearts of hard-working students. One of these breaks in the monotony of academic life is bingo night, held at Late-Night Caf every Tuesday. It\u2019s sophomore Lexi Earnhart\u2019s favorite part of the week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have a lot of really cool prizes,\u201d Earnhart said, \u201cand I get to yell really loud.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Junior Lisanne Cheatham said her favorite Campus Life event is Karaoke Night, usually held Friday nights. The next one will occur on Sept. 30. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy favorite part is making my friends go up on stage and sing embarrassing songs,\u201d Cheatham said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Campus Life Director Abby Stinnett has a lot else planned throughout the rest of the semester. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m really excited for I Heart HU week,\u201d Stinnett said. \u201cI think it will be a really fun week. We\u2019ll have a trunk or treat. I am also really looking forward to Relay for Life. We\u2019re going to have a booth there, and we\u2019ll sell some really funny stickers.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently, Campus Life hosted Doublecamp, a band that played at Bison Park during Family Weekend on Sept. 15., and also recently announced the second concert of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNov. 5 in the Admin Auditorium, Bad Suns will be performing,\u201d Stinnett said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tickets will start to go on sale for $10 today, Sept. 23. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All of these events, which help liven up the weeks and months of the school year, are fun ways to pass time, but are also simple yet powerful ways to build community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI love that we all get to just enjoy being around each other and the community that Harding has and that we just get to be silly and goofy and fun,\u201d Earnhart said. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
