Situated next to the Big Red gas station at 700 E. Beebe Capps, the car wash offers a new option for students interested in cleaning their vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Sophomore Dalton Drye is the grandson of Charley Adcock, owner of the car wash. He currently helps his grandfather run the business and hopes to take on a larger role after graduation. Drye said business has been going well for Oasis Car Wash and Drye since its grand opening on March 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">\u201cIt\u2019s been going great,\u201d Drye said. \u201cWe\u2019ve had three small issues that entire time, but other than that, it\u2019s been working like clockwork. We\u2019ve done 2,400 cars in 21 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Junior Caleb Sanders recently got his car washed for a special occasion. Sanders said he decided to try Oasis Car Wash and Drye because he was unimpressed by other car washes in town; he said he was happy with the experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">\u201cI thought it was pretty cool,\u201d Sanders said. \u201cWhen I got there, the owner came out to ask me if I\u2019d been there before and just greeted me and told me everything that was going to happen \u2026 The car wash was awesome, and I\u2019m definitely going to go back again after all the pollen calms down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Steve Shaner, assistant professor of communication said he is interested in Oasis for one of its other features. The establishment offers three dog wash stations, and Shaner said he would like to take his black labrador retriever there soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">\u201cI don\u2019t give Addy a bath as often as I should because of the big mess and extreme effort it takes, so this dog wash has gotten my extremely curious,\u201d Shaner said. \u201cI do plan on using it this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Drye said his grandfather wanted to open a car wash after being unhappy with other options in Searcy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">\u201cHe wanted to make sure this place would clean the cars how he wanted,\u201d Drye said. \u201cThat\u2019s what we\u2019re selling it on: our quality. I never thought we\u2019d be this busy right off the bat; I thought we were going to have to build up three or four months down the road with the summer and next fall, maybe we\u2019d start hitting those 150 car days. But so far, we average 140, and we\u2019ve had two days over 200 out of these three weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Sanders said he would recommend the new car wash to other students who want a clean car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">\u201cI would say go try it out,\u201d Sanders said. \u201cIt\u2019s right there, and it\u2019s very easy to get to \u2026 I think everyone should go do it at least once.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Oasis Car Wash and Drye offers two car wash tunnels with four package options, three self-serve stations, vacuums and three bays for washing dogs.
