She said the studio\u2019s mission is to reconnect clients with who they are through a variety of exercises in a quality enviroment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s from the inside that changes the outside versus (the idea that) you change the outside first,\u201d Cox said. \u201cSo we don\u2019t focus on (the outside).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nicole Hopkins, cofounder and co-owner of Nooma, said she benefits from the relationships she builds with the people she meets at Nooma and through seeing the results in their lives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of talking about the weather we\u2019re talking about what\u2019s really going on,\u201d Hopkins said.<\/p>\n<p>Nooma offers classes on mindful meditation to gentle flow to aerial yoga and Pilates in both hot and cool settings. Classes are for all ages and types of people, according to Cox.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoga is for everybody,\u201d Cox said. \u201cIf you can breathe, you can do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Junior Justice Laws said his preferred method of exercise is dance, which he has been doing since age 5. Laws said he enjoys dance because it allows him to express his emotions through movement while still benefitting from performing a physical activity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTelling a story through movement is beautiful. It\u2019s beautiful to watch and beautiful to do physically,\u201d Laws said. \u201cIt\u2019s great exercise and . . . it\u2019s just a great way to build relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Laws will begin teaching dance and Zumba classes at Nooma beginning March 2. He said he hopes to provide a fun and upbeat environment to teach moves that people can easily take with them to use at home when they exercise.
