Girls, did you know that guys can think about absolutely nothing and still live? To be completely honest it’s our favourite thing to think about. There have been actual studies to prove this; books have been written, conferences given, debates and probably wars — if you really think about it.
There have been many different analogies used when describing men’s and women’s brains. Two of my favourites are boxes or waffles for men and wire or spaghetti for women.Mark Gungoruses the boxes and wire idea describing the different sexes saying men keep their ideas separate from each other and nothing touches where as with women everything is connected to everything.Chad Easthamuses the waffles and spaghetti the same way but with a nice food twist to it.
Many say that it is impossible to understand women but I personally disagree. Now I am in no way saying that I know everything there is to know or that it is easy in any way; you can ask my girlfriend. I am saying that a basic knowledge is attainable if you try to understand one thing guys. Everything in a girls mind is connected to everything! Take that to heart. I don’t care how weird or ridiculous that might sound, it is true for most girls out there.
This goes the same way for girls trying to understand guys. I don’t know why a girl trying to understand guys is not talked about as much as the reverse but a lot of the time, they don’t understand us either. It is hard for them to understand that we don’t connect everything to well, everything. I am not going to try to give examples because that just doesn’t seem safe but I am sure you can think of some on your own. Now we do have our moments when some things are connected but in general, it’s just not the way things are up there.
Oh and by the way, it really bugs girls when they ask you what you’re thinking and you say “nothing.” They just don’t understand that concept, it doesn’t make sense to them, and so they think that you must be hiding something. On the other hand, if a guy asks a girl what she is thinking and she replies with “nothing” the guy naturally thinks that she is in fact thinking about nothing. Wrong!
Girls, if you ask a guy what he is thinking about and he answers “nothing,” there is a good chance that there is really nothing going on up there.
Guys, if you ask a girl what she is thinking about and she answers “nothing,” there is a good chance that you need to find out what is really going on. Otherwise there is a good chance you will be in trouble soon and not know why.
