Harding University’s Social Club, OEGE, celebratedHalloweenby throwing a costume party. Every member and their dates celebrated the occaision by dressing up as something they’re not. It was a chance to reveal a different side of themselves and be something they’re not.”I dressed up as a Vampire,” OEGE officer Kelda Iness said. “I’m into Twilight and I wanted to play with [the idea of actually being one]”.”We had a lot of fun. We had costume contests, scary stories…it was a lot of fun,” stated OEGE freshman Amanda Scott. “OEGE showed us we didn’t have to go Trick or Treating to have fun and I liked that.”So, if Halloween offers us to show a new side of ourselves…then what will Thanksgiving bring the social club?”I think they’re going to conjure up a big feast and I think we’ll eat a lot of food with a really big turkey,” said Scott. “I look forward to it.”
