May 1946 — Harding College purchased Memphis radio station WHBQ-AM (560 kHz) for $300,0000
March 1956 — Harding sold WHBQ-AM-TV to General Tire & Rubber Company for $2.5 million
Spring 1965 —KHCA 720 AM began closed circuit carrier current transmission from studios in the basement of the Ezell Bible building
Fall 1973 — KHCA moved to the basement of the Ganus building
Fall 1998 — KHCA moved to the second floor of the Reynolds Center and provided background audio for the university’s TV16 cable channel
July 28, 2006 — AM1660 went on the air as a low-power noncommercial AM service for the campus
August 18, 2006 — KVHU-FM 95.3 went on the air as a commercial FM station serving central Arkansas
