Although the Advertising and Promotion Tax debate is wrapping up with today's vote, the controversy continues. Twenty-seven yard signs opposing the A&P Tax went missing Sunday night. They were later discovered muddied up on city property. Demonstrators against the tax rallied at Tuesday afternoon at City Hall to protest both the tax and the disappearance of their signs. Those who gathered are asking the Searcy police to figure out who is responsible. TV16 spoke with Nicholas Horton, candidate for Alderman of Ward 1, to find out more. |
